OUR BUSY WEEKEND!

Wayne with the Girls before the Father/Daughter Dance
Tatum LOVING the spaghetti!

Domie and the Girls

Reagan with Aunt Grace

Our Busy Weekend started on Friday with The Father/Daughter Dance at Reagan's school. We went to Cucos for dinner before the Big Dance. Wayne and Reagan had a great time. Wayne said most of the time all the little girls were on stage dancing and singing! Reagan LOVED it! On Saturday morning, the girls and I went to Slidell. We had lunch with my Mom and Lori and then we all went to Picayunne to visit Grandmaw Opal. Then the girls and I had to get back home. We had Wayne's family over for a Big Family Dinner Party to celebrate cousin Andrea's Birthday. It was such a stress free party for me. Aunt Grace made the red gravy and meatballs and brought it over. I just made a couple appetizers. So there really wasn't much for me to do...it was wonderful! It was a fantastic dinner... and it was good to be with everyone! We had a great time!!!

The Gang...Drew is crying because he doesn't want to leave!

Reagan wanted a big birthday party. Not just any party would do. Wayne and I offered to throw her party anywhere she wanted. She insisted on a "home" party. Our home is in the middle of being renovated, but we decided to have the party here. We have come to realize that Reagan wants her birthday party to be an event like Thanksgiving and Christmas. (Which I think is kind of sweet and very characteristic of Reagan!) So we had a lot of work to do to get this house in order for a party. Then to add to our To Do List, Wayne broke the window in the living room next to the fire place, last weekend. It is a huge window that goes from the first floor to the second floor!!! The glass was such a mess. We had to pull up the carpet. (So thank goodness my sister is friends with Stuart and he owns Carpet World so we were able to get new carpet installed in just 3 days!!!)
The party was so much fun! We had a house full of family and friends. We had a Scooby Doo Bouncer and my parents made cotton candy. Wayne grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken. I am so glad that Reagan chose to have her party here because we were able to hang out with everyone. I was actually sad that it was over last night because we had such a good time! It is times like this when I am so glad to be back from Georgia and close to all my friends and family again. (It also made me miss Elaine, Jenny, and Jamie very much. I wish you all could have been here!) Next year we will have even more fun because 3 of Wayne's cousins are pregnant!

REAGAN'S BIRTHDAY

Thanks to Aunt Mel for riding with the kids. I almost threw up on them last time!
Having Fun!

Reagan & Drew

Callie

Charley & Tatum

We celebrated Reagan's 7th Birthday yesterday. We always open some presents in the morning. We save some for later so that it's not over at once! Aunt Bridget and Aunt Melody met us with Charley and Drew. We went to City Park to ride the rides. Jamie and Callie met us too! (It worked out great that they were in town and able to come hangout with us!!!) The kids were able to ride a few rides before an afternoon storm came and messed up our good time. Then we all went and had lunch together. It was lots of fun and Reagan had a great time! Later we went to dinner and Reagan opened presents. It was a wonderful day.

Reagan's Doctor Appointment

I just wanted to let you all know that Reagan went to see the Gastroenterologist at Children's Hospital on Thursday. The doctor did an x-ray and found that Reagan's rectum is the size of a large adults. So we now know what the problem is! We have lots of new medicines to help Reagan go potty more often and hopefully we can get her going ever couple of days and then over a period of time we can get her rectum to shrink to a more normal size for her age. We are very happy to finally have an answer and a solution to fix it that does not involve surgery! The funny thing about all of this is that Reagan's pediatrician told us all of this when Reagan was about 2 or 3 but she thought we needed to check with specialist to be sure. And then the bladder problems started (Because of her rectum adding pressure to it) so we kept going to specialist. Now we have an answer that we have had all along! But hopefully with the proper meds we can help her. We go back to the doctor in 3 months and we are going to be very aggressive about this!
